INVITATION OPEN STUDIOS WASTE DOESN’T EXIST

Did you know that the railway line in Zoetermeer has the shape of a pretzel? Hence the nickname for the Zoetermeer line. Between 1977 and 2006, the yellow Sprinters were an indispensable part of the Zoetermeer street scene. The pretzel has no end, just like the life cycle of the railway line. After the Sprinter and the RandstadRail, the railway line now also serves an important function in the new urban district, Entree. And so, we continue to build on the history of Zoetermeer.

OLD MATERIALS IN A NEW JACKET

But there are many more old materials suitable for a second life. Some creative entrepreneurs started working with old chair upholstery and NS travel signs. The result? Beautiful creations; from birdhouses to bird feeding stations and from bags to sneakers. Or how about rugs made from old tires and modern art from used materials? Soon, products from old Entree materials will also be available. The banners from the 2021 event ‘Entree, experience it’ are also given a second life. Because waste doesn’t exist!
